i might as well go all out. this little piece of perfection is from lagos ($995 from saks, here). just a smidge above my law-school-student-oh-so-in-debt budget. still... i can't help but drool over the understated, yet wonderfully detailed mix of caviar silver and gold with pave diamonds. really, what is not to love here?

i've been a big fan

of anna beck for a long time (and not just because of her name, although that certainly doesn't hurt.) this "rajua" ring (available on sale for $77 at nordstrom here) is a great mix of gold and silver. it's classic with a twist, just what i like.

moving on

every few days, i like to change my focus - boots for a while, then bags, then jewelry, etc. i first thought this ever-evolving foci may be some kind of style-a.d.d., or that i was fashion-fickle. but i've resolved that this is simply my way of watching what is out there, noting what appeals to me, as my moods and thoughts change. so, without further ado, some jewelry that strikes my fancy as of late...

not bad

these are simply vera by vera wang for kohl's (available here) and on sale for $53.99. Not a bad choice, although at 3.5 inches, the heels would be testing my ability to walk in a straight line...

nice & cheap...

i like a lot about this little boot (which i found here)...except for the heel. there is something about that curve that rubs me the wrong way. why do i have to be soooo attentive to the details ? everything else is great about this - the heel height, the color, they have it in my big-footed size, and the price. the PRICE. is. right. $37.12.

i'm on the hunt: Cute ankle booties to wear with skinny dark jeans. criteria: not too high (definitely not over 3 inches, preferably around 2), rounded toe, under $120. and CUTE. will be posting possibilities as i find them...

near perfection

i'm on a quest for the. perfect. coffetable. and i have high hopes. this puppy? yum. ideally, i would find an antique version of this baby. but i would take this in a heartbeat. unfortunately, it's a bit out of my price range... drool over it at sonrisa.

sneaks on the left are the original air trainers, sneaks on the right are the babies, supposedly out in the US around july for $90. word on the street is that they're super duper lightweight, a huge draw for me.
